The TÜBİTAK Science High School project, which received the second-place award in the national architectural competition organized by TÜBİTAK in 2023, was developed with a holistic campus approach that considers the topographical structure of the land as one of the fundamental inputs of the design. The project features a layered settlement scheme consisting of a conference hall, dining hall, and dormitory block placed on the slope, with the school block positioned above these structures. Thanks to the relationship established between the masses and the terrain, the building creates a strong spatial organization that integrates with the topography.

In the project, the mass placements were designed to zone the area through two distinct life hubs defined at different elevations. The relationship between education, social life, and accommodation functions was strengthened through controlled transitions, continuity of open spaces, and common areas that support user experience. With its topography-sensitive architectural approach, simple mass language, and campus-scale organizational structure, the TÜBİTAK Science High School project presents a strong spatial model for contemporary educational buildings.
